Litter Audit Training Day

Volunteer Litter Audit – Brunswick River
Keen to take real action for ocean conservation in the Northern Rivers? Join us for a Litter Audit Training Day on the banks of the beautiful Brunswick River.
You’ll be helping us audit the waste disposed of in the fishing tackle bins along the river while learning how you can become a regular ocean conservation volunteer with Positive Change for Marine Life (PCFML) and other local conservation NGOs.
📅 When: Friday, May 16th
🕚 Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
📍 Where: Brunswick Heads Boat Harbour (meet near the old fishing co-op)
Why it matters:
Marine debris impacts wildlife, water quality, and the health of our waterways. By collecting data through community-led audits, we can build solutions that prevent pollution at its source and advocate for long-term change.
All volunteers will receive a PCFML Volunteer welcome pack and get the chance to learn more about career pathways and upcoming events in the shire!
We can’t to see you there! Please be sure to RSVP via the link below:
