Stephanie Hunt

Stephanie Hunt is an international journalist, producer and news editor. She has twenty years’ experience in the media industry and has worked at the top of the game for Al Jazeera English, BBC World News, Seven Network Australia and Storyful where she is the senior editor for Asia-Pacific. She’s also an adjunct lecturer of Communication at Charles Sturt University.

Stephanie has produced everything from interviews with the Dalai Lama and Black Eyed Peas to a Royal Wedding and the Winter Olympics. In her current role at Storyful, Stephanie leads newsroom coverage of major breaking global events including elections, natural disasters and the climate crisis, and works daily with the world’s major media teams, including the Washington Post, New York Times, NBC News and ABC.

Steph is also the creator and host of the podcast ‘And We’re Rolling’, interviewing the world’s best female foreign correspondents, presenters, leaders and athletes about what scares them, and how they find the grit to do it anyway.

Through her time in the industry Stephanie has been lucky enough to produce TV content in Mongolia and Bangladesh with World Vision, and the Solomon Islands with UNICEF. In August 2019, she delivered a TEDx talk on the lessons she learnt from remote African tribes. She’s presented a travel safety video series in Colombia for worldnomads.com
