Leave No Trace Coordinator
Megha has completed her post graduation in Environmental Science and Technology. She is native to Wayanad district in Kerala. Megha had the privilege to do research internships at esteemed universities under the direction of esteemed scientists at IISER Tirupathi and TIES Kottayam, contributing to the field of environmental science while solidifying her expertise in research methods and the latest innovations.
Apart from that she took initiative to work independently with Haritha Karma Sena, showcasing her leadership skills and dedication to making a positive impact at the grassroots level through awareness which was a remarkable journey in her field. Her works showcase a holistic approach to environmental issues, combining scientific rigor with a deep sense of responsibility towards the society and our planet.
Megha serves as the Leave No Trace Programme Coordinator at Positive Change for Marine Life, overseeing collaboration with communities and local vendors to reduce the presence of single-use plastic in the supply chain. She actively engages in identifying and implementing nature-friendly alternatives to reduce the use of single-use plastic, exploring innovative ideas for sustainable practices. Megha’s passion motivated her to work with PCFML through which she hopes to contribute to a future where our oceans thrive and marine life prosper.
