Linda Abdo

Secretary

Linda is an Environmental Management professional dedicated to developing strategic, practical and ethical solutions related to the management of natural resources. With tertiary qualifications including a Bachelor of Science (Marine Science) (Honours), a Diploma of Management (project, people and financial) and currently finalising her PhD on the topic of biodiversity offsets, she also has over 15 years’ experience working in government organisations, private industry and NGO’s in various natural resource management and stakeholder engagement roles. She has previously held positions and represented organistions on a number of technical advisory working groups and is currently a member of the Royal Society of Western Australia.

She is passionate about environmental conservation that supports strong and healthy communities and strongly driven in both her personal and professional life to strive for sustainability. She believe that conservation should not occur to the exclusion of communities, rather, that innovative solutions can see both environmental and social values not only coexist, but flourish. She greatly appreciates the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing growth of Positive Change for Marine Life.
