Smitha is an exploratory nature conservationist and sustainable development expert with 13 years of extensive knowledge and expertise in environmental conservation and climate change mitigation.
Smitha has coordinated large international projects on climate change, education, and wildlife interactions. Her first project provided her with first-hand experience coordinating a campaign in 2 ‘lakh’ schools across India as well as international schools.
Smitha has exceptional experience working with different strata of people, including Corporates, Government agencies, NGOs, and Independent Scientists. This has equipped Smitha with the knowledge required to manage grant programs, ensure grantee compliance, and coordinate with all stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers for smooth completion of a range of conservation projects.
Smitha aims to use her skills to bring about much needed positive change for the marine life and communities who rely on the ocean along the Indian coastline and beyond.
