World Oceans Day is a global day of ocean celebration and collaboration towards a better future. This year's theme of 'preventing plastic pollution and creating solutions' is right up our alley and has been one of the major focus areas of our work in Australia and abroad since 2012.
Join us and our partners for a day of events, activities and FUN to celebrate and give back to mother ocean. All events are all ages, everyone is welcome!
7am - Yoga, Surf and Beach Clean at The Pass - FREE
Come along in your brightest kit, as we join Fluro Fridays to also raise awareness to plastic pollution AND mental health.
7pm - An evening at the Heart Space Warehouse - $10 ENTRY FEE (All proceeds go back to our local Byron campaigns)
Live music from Manoa and Boatkeeper; a "Welcome to Country" from the Arakwal traditional custodians of Byron Bay presentations and ocean info; stalls from PCFML, Two in the Sun Jewellery and artists, Kat Deschan and Ania Caffarena; Latin American food by Little Wahaca + more!
