There's no better time to get out there and meet like-minded people, learn more about marine debris and spread the word to make a difference!
Our research from the past 5 years of beach surveys has helped to provide solutions and education to eradicate marine debris at its source before it enters the ocean. To date we've ensured that over 400,000 pieces of trash have been removed from and kept out of marine ecosystems!
Join us every Saturday fortnight on Main Beach, Byron Bay (9am until October) alternating with 7 Mile Beach, Broken Head (830am at the carpark or 9am at the beach) OR at Miami Headland (830am) on the Gold Coast to continue Honouring the Ocean and protecting our marine life from harmful marine debris! You'll meet new people, learn more about marine debris and best of all you'll help our mother ocean whilst raising awareness around this vital issue!
For more information, why not get in touch with one of our Honour the Ocean Coordinators?
