World Ocean's Day 2018

Our India team

Attending the Oceanlove Conference on World Ocean's Day here was a heartening experience. It brought academics, schools, tourism operators and NGOs together and put the spotlight on everybody’s collective interest in tackling the plastic problem. A range of speakers presented, each speaking from a different background, toward a common goal. It was inspiring to see how much attention is being given to the issue, which filled us with hope that a positive change in the future is possible. We were invited to stand up and introduce ourselves to these community change-makers and used the opportunity to share our backgrounds and our vision of a pathway toward a cleaner, healthier future.

Our Australian team

Our team in Byron Bay hosted a special event at Heartspace in the Byron Industrial Estate on World Ocean's Day. Bringing together incredible Australian musicians (Boatkeeper and Manoa), artists and jewellery makers (Two in the Sun, Kat Deschan, Ania Caffarena), we spoke about all things oceans and raised some vital funds for our work in Australia and abroad.
