With a severe lack of waste management and recycling facilities, the majority of this plastic waste ends up in the ocean, destroying marine ecosystems, affecting fisheries and killing millions of marine animals every year.

Over the past three months our team in India has been forming alliances with local organisations, government agencies and community groups, as well as undertaking beach surveys and brand audits to determine the best way to tackle the myriad of pollution and waste management issues currently facing the marine environment here.
