Our Inaugural River Warriors Report Card Launch
7 months, 24 surveys, 19 volunteers, 429 volunteer hours and 40.2km travelled by kayak saw our team collect 22,925 items from the Tallebudgera Creek on the Gold Coast, weighing in at 1,539kg! Our report and findings were released at the Gold Coast Recreation Centre in February and we are excited to be launching Phase II to address marine debris in Tallebudgera Creek at it’s source, whilst working with a variety of stakeholders towards long-term behavioural change.
