Celebrating 50 years, Earth Day provides an opportunity to help the community understand the positive impact they can have on our planet by making conscious decisions to protect it. We’ve taken a look at 8 key successes that our team has achieved over the past 12 months to give back to the planet that gives us so much!
Over the past three months our team in India has been forming alliances with local organisations, government agencies and community groups, as well as undertaking beach surveys and brand audits to determine the best way to tackle the myriad of pollution and waste management issues currently facing the marine environment here.
Single-use plastic sucks! At PCFML we realised we had to do something about it to stop it from getting into our waste stream, creeks, rivers, and finally the ocean. So we designed a new campaign! We knew we had to go big and in doing so, try to encourage as many other people as possible to also call it the last straw. This meant going straight to the source, to the places that give us our straws.
We are inviting tourists & members of the Byron Bay community to join the global environmental movement and pledge to go plastic bag-free starting on the 16th of November...
