The PCFML India team attended Global Development Group's South Asia Regional Networking Conference in Hyderabad last week. Various NGO’s from around India gathered to meet, provide insights into their work and share information on how to better operate within the regulations which govern Indian NGO’s.
It was a great experience for our team to hear more from work being undertaken across the country, with projects focused on topics such as anti-trafficking, housing and schooling for orphans, education for disadvantaged children and clean water initiatives.
Our partners at Global Development Group provided us with a lot of inspiration and useful knowledge to help us continue to strengthen our projects in some of the poorest coastal fishing communities in the south of the country. Thanks so much to Mayuri, Blake and Krishna from the PCFML India team for attending and being such great ambassadors for the organisation!
