
Community Engagement and Waste Management Officer, Solomon Islands
Sumana hails from Marovo Lagoon in the Western Province of the Solomons. Sumana graduated from the Solomon Islands National University with a diploma in Public health and is setting her eyes on an Education Diploma to connect her passion for health with education.
She loves connecting with people, leading and educating them about the environment and the impact a healthy ocean and environment can have on a community’s wellbeing.
She is excited to be part of the Positive Change for Marine Life Solomons team and is looking forward to contributing to making positive changes in the local Gizo community and beyond.
